Nominations for the 2026/2027 Program open around August
The CCAS Aussie Rules program is delivered in partnership with the Regional Academies of Sport (RAS) network.
This program provides a high‑performance development pathway for talented young Aussie Rules footballers, focusing on technical skills, strength and conditioning, athlete education, and personal growth.
Athletes receive targeted skill development, seasonal training support, and preparation for high‑performance tournaments.
The program includes practical education in areas such as S&C, nutrition, sports psychology and injury management.

Athlete Eligibility
Program Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for selection into this Program, athletes must be invited by AFL NSW and the Regional Academies of Sport based on performance or potential performance levels displayed during the AFL NSW Representative Carnival.
Athletes must be:
Male and Female
- Under 13’s (2011, 2012)
- Under 15s (2009, 2010)
- Under 17s (2007, 2008)
- Be committed to progressing to higher representation within Aussie Rules Football
- Be a registered member of a AFL NSW affiliated club within the CCAS catchment region.
- Reside on the Central Coast.
