Nominations for the 2026/2027 Program are now open
The CCAS Aussie Rules program is delivered in partnership with the Regional Academies of Sport (RAS) network.
This program provides a high‑performance development pathway for talented young Aussie Rules footballers, focusing on technical skills, strength and conditioning, athlete education, and personal growth.
Athletes receive targeted skill development, seasonal training support, and preparation for high‑performance tournaments.
The program includes practical education in areas such as S&C, nutrition, sports psychology and injury management.

Athlete Eligibility
Program Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for selection into this Program, athletes must either be invited by The Regional Academies of Sport based on their demonstrated performance or potential during the AFL NSW Representative Carnival, or nominate to attend a trial session if they were not identified during the Carnival.
The program is open to male and female athletes who meet the following eligibility and nomination criteria:
- Under 13s: born in 2013 or 2014
- Under 15s: born in 2011 or 2012
- Demonstrate a commitment to progressing to higher levels of representation in Australian Rules Football
- Be a registered member of an AFL NSW-affiliated club within the Central Coast catchment region
- Reside within the Central Coast Local Government Area (LGA)
Athlete Levy
Uniform costs are additional, with Aussie Rules Football specific and CCAS items purchased through the official supplier.
Additional event costs may apply for inter-academy camps.

Weekly training sessions, Wednesday’s 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Trial and first training session
Wednesday 7th October
5:00pm – 7:00pm
Envisage Property Oval (Adelaide St) Killarney Vale
This session will serve as the trial for nominated athletes and the first training session for athletes selected into the program.
