Nominations for the 2026/27 program will open soon

The CCAS Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific Triathlon Program is delivered in partnership with Triathlon NSW and the Regional Academies of Sport (RAS) network.

This program provides a high‑performance development pathway for talented young Triathletes, focusing on technical skills, strength and conditioning, athlete education, and personal growth. It aligns with the Triathlon NSW Development Pathway and connects athletes to state and national pathways.

Athletes receive targeted skill development, seasonal training support, and preparation for high‑performance races. The program includes practical education in areas such as S&C, nutrition, sports psychology and injury management, along with opportunities to represent CCAS at events, inter‑academy sessions and camps.

Program Partners

Selected athletes receive:

  • Access to Athlete Discounts

  • Access to purchase CCAS Merchandise Pack

  • Athlete education covering key topics including, Drugs in Sport, Leadership, Load Management, Media Training, Motivation, Nutrition, Social Media, Sports Psychology

  • Functional Movement Screening and Review Session

  • Opportunity to Attend Academy Games in Tamworth

  • Opportunity to Join Inter-Academy Training Camp Tour

  • Squad Training Sessions with CCAS and Other Academy Triathlon Squads

  • 3-Month Mingara Gym, Track and Pool Pass

Program Eligibility Criteria

Athletes must:

  • Aged 13-19 years old as of 31st December 2027 (ie born in 2008-2014)
  • Be committed to progressing to higher representation within Triathlon
  • Current or willing to become a member of Central Coast Triathlon Club
  • Currently reside within Central Coast Council LGA
An athlete scholarship levy will apply, covering the above listed program benefits and more. Uniform costs are additional, with Triathlon‑specific and CCAS items purchased through the official supplier. Additional event costs may apply for Academy Games and Triathlon NSW pathway events.
