Nominations for the 2026/27 program open soon
The program provides a development pathway for talented young lawn bowlers, focusing on individualised skill development, technical improvement, competition preparation and athlete development. The program aims to support athletes in progressing through the bowls pathway and connecting with opportunities for higher levels of state, national and international representation.
NCAS has a long history of identifying and developing talented junior bowlers across the North Coast, with the program previously delivered from 2001-2012.

Athlete Eligibility
Program Eligibility Criteria
Athletes must:
- Be aged 12-25 in 2027 (born 2015-2002)
- Demonstrate talent, commitment and potential in lawn bowls
- Be committed to developing their skills and progressing within the sport
- Participate regularly in lawn bowls competition and training
- Meet any relevant Bowls NSW and NCAS eligibility requirements
- Reside in one of the following LGAs: Tweed, Byron, Lismore, Ballina, Kyogle, Richmond River, Clarence Valley, Coffs Harbour, Bellingen, Nambucca, Kempsey and Port Macquarie-Hastings.
