The 2026 program is currently running
The HAS Sailing program is delivered in partnership with Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club and the Regional Academies of Sport (RAS) network.
This program provides a high‑performance development pathway for talented young Sailors, focusing on technical skills, strength and conditioning, athlete education, and personal growth.
Athletes receive targeted skill development, seasonal training support, and preparation for high‑performance trials. The program includes practical education in areas such as S&C, nutrition, sports psychology and injury management.

Athlete Eligibility
Sailors should approximately be between the ages of 11-24 years old and have existing sailing experience at a club level. The program is also suitable for participants of the Out There Youth Sailing Program to continue their sailing development.
