Regional Academies of Sport unveil new unified branding

Regional Academies of Sport Ltd (RAS) is proud to announce the launch of a bold new visual identity, unveiling updated logos for its network of Academies.

The first phase of the rollout includes updated branding for the Hunter, Central Coast, North Coast, Limestone Coast, and Southern Sports Academies.

Additional academies will adopt the new look in the near future.

This clean, modern update marks a significant milestone in the evolution of RAS as a unified organisation.

The new branding reflects the strength of our collective model, with RAS as the master brand, and each regional academy as a vital sub-brand within our high-performance ecosystem.

At the heart of the new design is a powerful graphic inspired by a podium – three ascending lines of varying heights that symbolise progress, aspiration, and achievement.

The dynamic upward movement of the lines represents our shared commitment to excellence and continual growth, always striving toward greatness.

The use of negative space in the design is intentional and meaningful. It represents the grit, discipline and hard work that happens behind the scenes that truly defines the journey of every athlete and coach within our Academies.

“This new identity is more than just a logo, it’s a visual representation of our shared values and vision,” said RAS Marketing and Communications Manger, Bianca Wellings.

“While we embrace a modern, unified look that reflects our collective strength, we also pay homage to our rich history. By retaining the original colours of each academy, we honour the legacy, pride and community spirit that have shaped our journey. This evolution brings us together under one banner, while celebrating the unique energy and talent of each region.”

The rollout of the new logos will be accompanied by updated branding across digital platforms and merchandise.

This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for RAS as we continue to support the next generation of elite athletes across regional Australia.
