The Academy Games Opening Ceremony will commence at 4:30pm at the athletics track behind the Tamworth Sports Dome. Athletes are required to arrive from 4:00pm for marshalling and must be in full academy uniform as outlined by their respective academies.

As the ceremony is entirely outdoors and seating is limited, parents and supporters are advised to bring fold‑out chairs.

During the ceremony, we will hear from our valued partners as we officially open the 2026 Academy Games.

Please note that some sports will commence prior to the ceremony and continue afterwards. All participants and families are encouraged to check individual sport fixtures for accurate game times.
